The Travel Talk (now Travel Works Power Hour) in Nashville, Indiana with Congressman Hollingsworth focused on creating new opportunities and awareness for rural destinations.  This led into a robust conversation about Brand USA. Representative Hollingsworth asked about national and international trends in the travel industry and the group had the opportunity to stress the importance of Brand USA in supporting the travel industry facing headwinds from global perception and competition. The conversation then turned to travel workforce and the reputation of travel jobs. Everyone in the room expressed to the Congressman the merits of a career in the industry in terms of career advancement, pay, and benefits, but all expressed needs to fill empty positions.
